Ok so, there are a HUGE amount of films that are about the end of the world (or so it seems until the happy end!) Wether it be zombies, aliens, or natural disasters.

Also....is 2012 any good? I heard it's just full of special effects and not a good storyline. True/false?

Not seen 2012. The last movie I seen about really the end of the world kind of, well the end of a town, was the Crazies just the other day in the cinema. It wasn't bad for a remake, wasn't the best movie ever. Its a while since I've seen the George A Romero original, which was okay but quite cheesy and could have probably done a lot more. His 1978 Dawn of the Dead movie however is probably my favourite movie of all time. Love the gorge, the acting, the music, the atmosphere, the hidden message in the film that even if you don't realise it, doesn't make watching it any less fun.

2012 is a good film went to see it. its a better version of the day after tomarrow in my opinion
