What we are
Rise Against Media’s online record label is like a normal record label really. However we see it more as collaboration, a collaboration of music of all genres, all nationalities, all ages, etc. Unlike record labels we aren’t looking for a million pound selling band, although that would be nice. We simply like music and want to give every artist the chance to have the limelight, to be heard.
What we do
Firstly, joining the online record label is 100 percent free, and that’s no lie. Joining the label will mean that you and/or your band, will have their music played on our online radio station. You will also get your own page, which you can design or have made for you - you could include some of your tracks on here and even a blog if you wanted to.
You will also have your music sold on our online store, whether it be in a digital format or an actual physical CD, Vinyl, LP etc. You can also sell merchandise and tour tickets on the store. Rise Against Media will take a set percentage of your sales from the store. This percentage will be decided between you and us. Our percentage will be used to maintain our sites and add/improve features.
Rise Against Media is also offering for free, filmed music videos by the production side of our company. However, we regret to inform you that due to our location and funds, currently music videos can only be shot in the UK.
Terms/Contract
Rise Against Media is a fun company but to make sure everything goes smoothly all artists will need to sign a contract. The contract usually runs for 12 months unless otherwise stated by “Rise Against Media.”
