Rise Against Media is not just an online radio station and was actually primarily set up as a film production company. Of course at the time this idea came into our heads, myself, Peter Thompson, founder of Rise Against Media, knew nothing of the film industry.
Times are however changing, and currently I am studying a degree in TV and Film Production. Although I focus mostly on the production side of stuff, I have worked behind the cameras, actually capturing video, and I am planning to teach myself video editing.
Currently, Rise Against Media hasn’t got any definite productions going. We all have ideas, but it can take a lot of time turning a simple or even group of ideas into a working script, and that’s only the beginning. However, we are always looking for people’s ideas and even scripts if you have any. If you have a script and want to turn it into a film, or maybe you have a film but need a production company to help it get out there, then we could be the people for you.
